The Author of this book (J.K. Rowling) is trying to make this book exciting and a never ending action and adventure book so that the reader will keep on reading. J.K. Rowling wants readers to keep reading and maybe read the book once or twice. The setting in this book starts off in Harry Potter's, Uncle and Aunt's place, (No. 4 Privet drive). Harry's Uncle and Aunt don't like him because he is a wizard.
Harry Potter: He is a wizard, he is very kind to other's. He has a lot of great friends.
Ron Wiesley: He is also a wizard, he is also kind to other's, he also has a lot of friends. He is sometimes scared when things just pop up from nowhere.
Hermione Granger: She is a witch, she also is kind to others, she also has a lot of friends. She is very smart.
Dobby: He is a house elf, he is small with big bat-like ears.
Dumbledor: He is very old, he is the head master (principal) of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.
Haggrid: He is a half giant half man, he looks after creatures, he is a teacher of the school Hogwarts.
Draco Malfoy: He is evil (bad), teases Harry, Ron and Hermione a lot. He hated them since they arrived at Hogwarts.
