Sonnet 18 (my own version)
Shall i compare you to a hot summer day?
You are more friendly and more lasting:
Even if the rough wind shakes the flowers of may
And the summer is too short:
Sometimes the sun is too hot,
Or it goes behind the clouds to much;
And everything beautiful sometimes but it will lose its beauty
By mistake or by natures planned out course,
But your youth shall not fade,
Or even will lose the beauty that you possess;
Or will death claim you for his own,
Because my existing verse will live forever.
So long as there are people on this earth,
So long will this poem live on, making you immortal.
